Palma — three-bedroom penthouse apartment in a historic palazzo in Trapani, Sicily

Penthouse with terrace over the old town

A 100 sqm private terrace in Trapani terracotta, reached directly by lift, with deck chairs.

Palma is a 280 sqm apartment on the third floor of the noble 16th-century building, with a lift arriving directly onto a 100 sqm terrace laid in typical Trapani terracotta. Inside, the rooms hold a collection of contemporary art.

The apartment has an entrance hall, living room, kitchen, three double bedrooms, three bathrooms, the large terrace and an outdoor laundry. The kitchen is modern and functional with a dishwasher; the dining room is built around a big table in wood and glass, among characterful furniture, paintings and sculpture.

The first bedroom has beamed ceilings with decorated Sicilian majolica, two wardrobes and a bathroom with bathtub and shower. The second double has an open shower and its own bathroom. The third sits on the floor below, reached by an internal staircase from the dressing room of the master bedroom, floored in coconut fibre and renovated in 2024 with a private bathroom and a large shower.

Designer furniture blends with the original elements recovered during the restoration — refined in every detail, and the best way to take in the flavours and colours of the city.
