- What is Ad Sidera Stays?
- Ad Sidera Stays is a set of four apartments — Badia, Verde, Corallo and Palma — on the second and third floors of a 16th-century palazzo at Via San Michele 26, in the historic centre of Trapani, Sicily. They are run by Ad Sidera SRL, a local family company.
- Where exactly are the apartments in Trapani?
- All four apartments are in the same palazzo at Via San Michele 26, 91100 Trapani, inside the old town. The fish market, the cathedral, the sea walls and the port for the Egadi Islands are all within a few minutes' walk.
- How far is Ad Sidera from the port and from Trapani airport?
- The port of Trapani, with hydrofoils to Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo, is less than five minutes away on foot. Trapani Birgi airport (TPS) is about 20 minutes by car, and Palermo airport (PMO) about 1 hour 15 minutes.
- Can two apartments be booked together for a larger group?
- Yes. Badia and Corallo can each be connected internally with Verde, so a larger group or family can book two apartments and use them as one. Verde on its own reaches the lift only through Badia or Corallo.
- Is there a wheelchair accessible apartment?
- Corallo has a wheelchair accessible room and bathroom, and the palazzo is served by a large lift.
- Does any apartment have a private terrace?
- Palma has a private terrace with deck chairs, on the top floor of the palazzo.
- What are the check-in and check-out times?
- Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. We meet guests at the palazzo, so it helps to tell us your arrival time in advance.
- How do I book an Ad Sidera apartment?
- Each apartment can be booked on Airbnb from its page on adsiderasicily.com, or you can write to adsideratp@gmail.com or call +39 347 7264992 for direct enquiries, longer stays and connected apartments.
- What extra services are available?
- On request and at extra charge we can arrange an in-house chef, babysitting, housekeeping, beach resort booking, boat tours to the Egadi Islands and private car or van transfers.
- Is there a guide to Trapani for guests?
- Yes. adsiderasicily.com/guide is our own public guide to Trapani and its province: parking and transfers, restaurants, sightseeing, beaches and the Egadi Islands. Apartment-specific house notes are kept behind a passcode for guests.
